Senior Developer Programmer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Developer Programmer and contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of maintenance updates and enhancements for our C# .NET applications. This remote role requires extensive experience in full-stack .NET development, including MVC, .NET Core, jQuery, and SQL Server. You will collaborate with end-users to gather requirements, perform technical analysis, and independently code and test complex modules. Your expertise in debugging web-based applications and performing production support is crucial. Strong SQL skills and the ability to quickly learn and understand existing applications are essential. This is a 12+ month contract position located in Raleigh, NC.

Requirements

• Have extensive experience working as Full stack .Net MVC/.Net Core/ jQuery / SQL Server in a fast-paced environment
• Have 6 years of experience in general application development using any language(s)
• Have 5 years of experience as a highly skilled senior C#, ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core developer
• Have 5 years of experience with JavaScript, JQuery
• Have 5 years of experience with SQL Server
• Have 3 years of experience designing and developing web software solutions using agile methodologies and techniques
• Have 3 years of experience with Proficiency of LINQ-to-objects and LINQ-to-entity
• Have 3 years of experience with Entity Framework core
• Have recent and extensive experience with production support work
• Have expertise in ‘Manually’ debugging of web based .Net MVC and .Net Core applications that are in production and going into production

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement maintenance updates and enhancements for all existing client C# .NET Applications
• Work with application end-users to determine and document functional requirements for application software and translates those requirements into use cases in Azure DevOps Boards
• Perform comprehensive technical analysis of development and programming solutions for all client applications
• Independently Code and Unit Test the complex modules according to IT industry best practices
• Ensure each module satisfies the requirements of the software at the conclusion of integration testing
• Perform quality review of all developer work for completeness, accuracy and fulfillment of requirements
• Work with management to provide ongoing updates and challenges and effectively communicates (verbal, written) with colleagues, end-users
• Perform maintenance and enhancements of existing applications built in .Net MVC, .Net Core, jQuery and SQL Server
• Write complex queries to pull data to meet end-user needs
• Learn and understand the current applications and databases to provide data reports for production support

Preferred Qualifications

• Have 3 years of experience creating technical documentation
• Have 2 years of experience with Razor pages
• Have 2 years of experience with CSS, Bootstrap
• Have 2 years of experience with Restful API
• Have 2 years of experience with Crystal Reports and/or any reporting services on SQL Server database
