Development Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Backend Development Engineer and contribute to the development of backend systems supporting our loyalty partners. You will work on modern back-end applications using Golang, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and take ownership of your work from start to finish. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills and 3-5+ years of experience building backend systems and APIs with production experience in Go applications. Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills
• At least 3-5+ years experience building back-end systems and APIs
• Production experience writing Go applications
• Understanding and experience with design patterns and common software architectures
• Desire to develop your skills across all levels of the technical stack
• Belief in the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and communication

Responsibilities

• Develop modern back-end applications using Golang that will reach millions of users around the world
• Assist with the development of new services for strategic clients, with some of the largest APIs in the loyalty space
• Share responsibility for your team’s technical health: architecture, best practices, reliability, security, etc
• Improve the developer and user experience through thoughtful design, rigorous testing, and clear documentation
• Ensure that our products meet the accessibility needs of our end-users
• Collaborate with project managers, relationship managers, product designers, analysts and other stakeholders
• Play an important role in helping us to deliver high-quality products to our partners and customers
