Join our team - we are Committed, Collaborative and Curiousβ¦.we are Biofourmis! Biofourmis is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic global team. As a DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our digital health platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in system administration, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Certification is a plus
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience troubleshooting Kafka, RDS, and TSDB
- Familiarity monitoring tools and practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Shell scripting
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- System Architecture and Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions to support our digital health platform
- Monitoring and Incident Response: Develop and implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems to detect and address issues before they impact customers. Respond to incidents promptly, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence
- Automation and Tooling: Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes. Develop and maintain tooling for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance to ensure optimal scalability and responsiveness
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, systems, and processes. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
