Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Gitlab, and Terraform
  • Cloud knowledge (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
  • Experience establishing/developing continuous integration pipelines (Azure DevOps and GitLab preferred)
  • Experience establishing/developing continuous delivery pipelines (Azure DevOps and GitLab preferred)
  • Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure and re-platforming applications into a cloud environment
  • Experience developing, deploying and supporting large scale systems (.NET, Node, Go, Vue, Angular experience preferred)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Support developers and customers using the infrastructure you are involved with developing
  • Be the company’s first line of defense in protecting the entire platform against hackers and viruses
  • Analyze the company’s current technology stack and develop a strategy to continuously improve application delivery
  • Establish milestones to measure and monitor the delivery and reliability of software as strategies are implemented
  • Identify manual processes during the software development lifecycle that can be automated
  • Develop a cloud-migration strategy for software not currently hosted in a cloud environment
  • Periodically review the company’s infrastructure and hosting cost to identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Establish best practices and mentor other engineers in enterprise-level DevOps solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
