Summary

Join Dailymotion as a DevOps Engineer and contribute to building our internal Platform-as-a-Service running on Kubernetes. You will maintain and evolve our CD platform based on FluxCD, ensuring platform reliability, performance, and security. Collaborate with developers, define appropriate systems and architectures, and provide guidance on MLOPS and Data architectures. Maintain documentation, stay updated with industry trends, and share best practices. Dailymotion offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and collaboration within an international team. The role involves ensuring optimal use of Kubernetes clusters in AWS, handling incident management, and improving delivery workflows. You will also participate in the on-call program and collaborate with developers to understand their specific requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Strong Expertise with Cloud Platforms (AWS,GCP)
  • Strong Expertise in CD pipelines (Flux)
  • Strong Expertise in monitoring and observability capabilities, including FinOps best practices (Prometheus, Grafana,Datadog, Looker)
  • Experience with Data lifecycle Management (Storage policies, costs optimization , security, encryption)
  • Experience in Data pipelines for ML models (Airflow,DataFlow,Kestra)
  • Experience in ML infrastructure optimization (GPUs,TPUs, Inferentia)
  • Experience  in CI pipelines (Tekton, Jenkins,Jx3)
  • Strong programming skills in Python , with experience in Bash scripting; knowledge of Go or Rust is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with Dev Engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to drive innovation and advocate for best DevOps practices within the company

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the platform is reliable and performant through testing, automation and monitoring
  • Participate in the on-call program to provide application support, handle incident management, and troubleshoot production issues
  • Ensure optimal use of our Kubernetes clusters in AWS environment, from performance perspective and cost effectiveness perspective ( FinOps)
  • Ensure a high level of platform security
  • Maintain and improve our CD platform and delivery workflows
  • Share best practices with your peers
  • Collaborate with developers to understand their specifics requirements, while continuously improving the architecture and deepening your understanding of the global system. The right component for the right need
  • Provide guidance on MLOPS and Data architectures (Cloud GCP, Airflow, GPUs)
  • Maintain detailed documentation of engineering processes, infrastructures, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and devops to drive innovation and continuous improvement
