Summary

Join Gameloft's Business Intelligence team and be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that encourages experimentation and fast learning. You will work with development teams on infrastructure needs and deployment tasks, maintain core infrastructure, integrate new technologies, collaborate on setting up infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and work with data scientists to provide data access and workflows. Responsibilities include monitoring application performance, identifying and implementing solutions for bottlenecks, defining and maintaining security and business continuity strategies, and ensuring system stability. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux OS, scripting, container technologies, Infrastructure as Code, cloud providers, and RDBMS. Requirements

  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Knowledge of container technologies (Docker)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud providers
  • Experience with RDBMS (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • High curiosity and self-driven nature, also attention to details
  • Fluent in English
  • Good team player and communication skills; Fast learner and willing to improve himself/herself
  • Self-motivated, resourceful person, able to work independently and interdependently and to manage priorities

Responsibilities

  • Work with development teams on their infrastructure needs and deployment tasks
  • Sustain the existent core infrastructure and help in integrating new technologies, while ensuring system stability
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers on setting up the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with data scientists and other data analytics teams, providing access to data and setting up different workflows
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and drive the implementation of relevant fixes
  • Define, implement and maintain security, backup, redundancy and business continuity strategies, including high-availability and disaster recovery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab)
  • Understanding monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies
