Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
• Experience with Python and TypeScript
• Solid experience with AWS, including EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, Route 53, and other services
• Experience with Kubernetes including deployments, scaling, and management of containerized applications
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Adept at using Git and GitHub for version control
• Understanding and practice of Agile methodologies
• Pass background and criminal record check
• Provide 3 relevant references

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily using AWS
• Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
• Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS environment and ensure their ongoing support
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating and sharing knowledge within teams

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with CI/CD systems and automated testing
• Knowledge of security practices and compliance standards
