DevOps Engineer in India

Summary

We are hiring an experienced DevOps engineer to collaborate with the Moodle Research team in building, developing, and maintaining LLM-based agent services. This role requires a mix of DevOps skills and Python programming. Responsibilities include managing architecture and stacks, designing infrastructure, deploying and maintaining products, ensuring performance and security, writing software code, and monitoring customer experience. A degree in computer science or related field and 3+ years of container experience are required. Additional preferred requirements include Python experience, deep Linux knowledge, strong communication skills, an understanding of Design Thinking, and experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, and databases.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience using containers and container orchestration software such as Kubernetes
• 2 - 5 years of software engineering experience, especially Python
• Deep Linux experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for common architecture and stacks
• Design, creation, and provisioning of infrastructure
• Deploy and maintain products and applications
• Ensuring performance, security, quality, and stability
• Writing and validating the software code
• Continuously monitoring customer experience and KPIs
• Implementing and developing CI/CD pipelines
