Devops Engineer

Summary

Join Pacvue's US DevOps team as a Summer Hire intern and gain hands-on experience in a remote, cloud-first environment. This hourly contract role, ideal for college students, involves implementing Coralogix agents, deploying resources using Terraform and Github Actions, building Docker images, and managing AWS resources. You'll work with CI/CD principles and the Atlassian toolset. The internship offers exposure to Terraform, Github Actions, Circle CI, YAML, Jira/Confluence, and AWS cloud infrastructure. Successful interns present their learnings and identify potential improvements. The role is a 2-month contract starting at the end of May, paying $20/hour for 35 hours/week.

Requirements

This is an hourly contract role intended for college students as a summer internship

Responsibilities

• Implement Coralogix agents and ingestion
• Deploy resources using Terraform and Github Actions
• Build and update Docker images
• Manage and optimize AWS resources including EC2, EKS, etc
• Use Atlassian tool set for ticket tracking and documentation
• Present a small presentation on what you learned during the internship, as well as 3 identified potential DevOps pain points that could be improved upon in the future

Benefits

$20 per hour, 35 hours per week for approximately 2 months
