Summary

Join 3Pillar, a company focused on developing cutting-edge technologies, as a Resource Manager. You will be a key member of the team, working directly with domestic clients on mission-critical engagements. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to ensure efficient execution of BAU activities, managing accounts, preparing status reports, and resolving conflicts. You will also be responsible for analyzing project demands, developing resource allocation plans, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely resource availability. Additionally, you will maintain accurate resource records, conduct performance assessments, provide guidance to project teams, and manage margins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management or a related field
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in resource management preferably in project based environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation and optimisation principles and methodologies, preferably in the Indian context
  • A strong track record of problem solving and a “roll up your sleeves” mentality
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands and optimise resource allocation
  • Relationship builder. Highly empathetic and collaborative, able to work across senior level stakeholders to drive decisions
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate resource records and documentation
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • A strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our clients to ensure BAU activities are efficiently executed
  • Account governance, Tracking and reporting of individual accounts, Prepare regular status reports for senior management, Timely escalation and coordination for conflict resolution
  • Analysing project demands, resource availability and constraints to develop effective resource allocation plans
  • Developing and implementing resource planning strategies to align resource allocation with project demands and organisational goals
  • Optimising resource utilisation by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks or imbalances in resource allocation
  • Coordinate with human resources, procurement and other relevant departments to ensure timely availability of resources as per project requirements
  • Maintaining accurate resource records and documentation, including resource schedules, utilisation reports and allocation decisions
  • Conducting regular assessments of resource performance, productivity and capacity to identify areas for improvement
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams in resource-related matters, including staffing, skill requirements and resource acquisition
  • Margin management
  • Taking care of the configurator, communication plan, resource requests, contract renewals etc
