Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, api gateways, internet gateways, and transit Gateway
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Tool Proficiency: Github Action, Jenkins, Terraform, EKS/ECS, Lambda, DataDog/CloudWatch/Sentry, Cloudflare/CloudFront

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage the networking infrastructure in AWS, including VPCs, subnets, route table, security groups, and VPN connections
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, network ACLs, and encryption protocols
  • Optimize network performance and reliability through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of network resources and services
  • Automate network provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software delivery process
  • Manage and enhance Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters to support the deployment and scaling of containerized applications
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents and outages in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a developer working with Django/NextJS
  • Experience with Azure and GCP
  • PostgreSQL/MSSQL
  • TypeScript
