Requirements

  • Strong technical skills, good system and infrastructure understanding
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role
  • Experience with building the full application release cycle (CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with how modern web applications work and scale
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux Shell
  • Proficiency in Python or Go is a plus
  • Expert knowledge in Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and carry out system architecture planning

Responsibilities

  • Work with a small team of experienced and highly talented developers in a CI/CD environment with cutting-edge technologies
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure performance and system reliability that achieves uptime of 99.99%
  • Implement and maintain security best practices within DevOps processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies
  • Work closely with Engineering teams on designing, implementing and maintaining our infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure and application issues. Respond to incidents promptly and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
