DevOps Engineer - Build Infrastructure

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior DevOps Engineer and lead the evolution of our Build Infrastructure capabilities. This critical role focuses on building and ensuring the reliability, monitoring, scalability, and automation of our software delivery processes. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipeline design, containers, and VM orchestration in an on-prem environment. You will design and maintain scalable build systems, automate provisioning and configuration, create and manage pipelines, deploy and manage applications, and implement monitoring and alerting solutions. Collaboration with development and operations teams is essential for troubleshooting and workflow optimization. Maintain clear documentation and enforce infrastructure standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Groovy scripting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration
• Experience with VMs, containers, and hybrid cloud environments
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Solid knowledge of networking, security policies, and access management
• Strong problem-solving skills in distributed systems and production environments

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable build systems supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools
• Create and manage pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and ArgoCD to support continuous integration and delivery
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance
• Apply best practices for infrastructure security, access control, and auditability
• Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows
• Maintain clear documentation and enforce infrastructure standards across environments
