DevOps IT Automation Engineer in Italy

Summary

The job is for a DevOps automation engineer who will work remotely or at the headquarter in Noceto (PR). The main responsibilities include supporting a team to build, deliver and maintain infrastructure platform that meets SLA expectations, participating in key technical decisions, implementing and improving on-premise and public cloud infrastructure, monitoring these infrastructures, ensuring the design and architecture of the infrastructure supports the technical needs of the business, and maintaining good documentation level. The required qualifications include experience in Cloud technologies (AWS - Azure), understanding of networking infrastructure, knowledge of modern Configuration Management tools, design, provision and maintain infrastructure platform, good knowledge about orchestration tools, experience in infrastructure provisioning tools, background in Linux systems, experience of containerization principles, scripting skills, good understanding of version control software, good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles and methodologies, Agile methodology and DevOps principles, documentation skills, and excellent organizational skills. Requirements

• Experience in Cloud technologies (AWS - Azure)
• Understanding of networking infrastructure (IPv4, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routing, Proxies, DNS)
• Knowledge of modern Configuration Management tools (Puppet, Ansible)
• Design, provision and maintain infrastructure platform
• Good knowledge about orchestration tools (Kubernetes, vRA, Openstack)
• Experience in infrastructure provisioning tools (Foreman, Terraform, Packer)
• Background in Linux systems
• Experience of containerization principles (Docker)
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby)
• Good understanding of version control software (Git)
• Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles and methodologies
• Agile methodology and DevOps principles
• Documentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Support a team of infrastructure engineers to build, deliver and maintain infrastructure platform that meets agreed SLA expectations
• Participate on key technical decisions and drive continuous improvement with regards to on premise and public cloud
• Implement and improve our on-premise and public cloud infrastructure
• Implement and improve monitoring of the on-premise and public cloud infrastructure
• Ensure the design and architecture of the infrastructure supports the technical needs of the business
• Ensure good documentation level
