Requirements
- At least 5 years as a DevOps Team Manager (or in a similar role)
- Lives and breathes the principles of servant leadership
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a scalable, efficient, and secure DevOps strategy to ensure business continuity
- Manage and prioritize the DevOps product backlog, emphasizing business value and technical feasibility
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of LegalMatch systems and applications
- Oversee the design, implementation, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems
- Integrate Agile workflows into DevOps practices to enhance delivery speed and team performance
- Lead, mentor, and manage the DevOps team, fostering a proactive, results-driven, and continuously improving culture
- Set team objectives, monitor performance metrics, and conduct regular reviews
- Identify skill gaps and facilitate training programs to support team member development
- Establish and manage individual goals for team members, ensuring alignment with team strategy
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Serve as a servant leader, removing impediments and empowering the team to meet sprint objectives
- Promote collaboration and effective communication within the team and across departments
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment on DevOps priorities and progress
- Communicate updates on progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify gaps, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance DevOps practices
- Develop and enforce best practices across the DevOps ecosystem to ensure continuous optimization
Preferred Qualifications
