Requirements
- 6+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with at least 4 years of AWS experience
- 6+ years of CI/CD pipeline development in GitLab, GitHub, or similar framework
- 3+ years of experience with security best practices in AWS, including remediating SecurityHub findings
- 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools, including SAST tools, DAST tools, and SCA tools
- Strong Linux OS-level and command-line/scripting knowledge and configuration management principles
- Working knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDB
- Exceptional analytical skills, able to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Able to design and implement complex, but easily managed, automated infrastructure
- Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge, teaching, and learning collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience in system tuning and performance testing
Responsibilities
- Proficiently design, maintain, and troubleshoot distributed systems, with strong hands-on debugging skills
- Manage the relationship between the Platform Infrastructure team and the Information Security Team to address and resolve security issues related to the platform, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools
- Contribute to security best practices by promoting a shift-left approach and fostering a strong security culture within the DevOps/Platform Infrastructure team
- Develop and maintain tools to support the development environment on MacOS and Linux, with a focus on enhancing developer productivity
- Maintain site reliability with focus on building highly scalable systems integrating resiliency and high availability at all levels
- Develop software & tooling to secure and automate cloud infrastructure building software delivery capabilities with fully automatic workflows
- Design and operation of a Kubernetes environment for container management and orchestration
Preferred Qualifications
- Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) experience in a production environment
- Coding beyond simple scripting with strong opinions on maintainable/reusable code in Python, Ruby or Java
- Experience with compute provisioning on a Cloud based platform using Terraform and/or Cloud formation
- Experience building a Microservice based architecture
- AWS certifications
