Summary

Requirements

  • Three plus years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Experience with vSphere, AWS and cloud technologies
  • Good grasp of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Networking experience
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with Bash, Powershell, Packer, Python
  • Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
  • Proficient in tools like vSphere, AWS Cloud Services, CI/CD pipelinesβ€―(Gitlab Pipelines), Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (Containerization)
  • Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
  • Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Active Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Actively develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient
  • Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions
  • Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process
  • Actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Multilingual programming abilities
  • Knowledge in automation languages like Python and Bash
  • Understanding of the project lifecycle, and related processes
  • Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
