Summary

Animoca Brands is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Digital Asset Researcher position. The role involves conducting comprehensive research on various cryptocurrencies, staying updated with industry news, analyzing investment opportunities, collaborating with the team, and monitoring existing investments. A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field is required, along with strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, passion for the crypto industry, and excellent communication abilities in English.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the underlying principles of decentralized finance
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, Python, or similar programming languages
• Demonstrated passion for the crypto industry, with knowledge of different cryptocurrency projects, market dynamics, and investment strategies
• Passion for blockchain and solid understanding of NFTs, DAOs, GameFi, DeFi, and other emerging trends
• Ability to work well in a fluid, changing environment in the innovative and often-ambiguous field of blockchain
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to align a diverse group of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
• Results oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English is a must

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on cryptocurrencies, including fundamental analysis of projects, market trends, and regulatory developments
• Stay up to date with the latest industry news and developments in the crypto space, including new blockchain technologies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and emerging trends
• Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities based on fundamental and qualitative factors, and provide recommendations to the Sales team
• Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain research reports, investment models, and other analytical tools
• Assist in monitoring and tracking the performance of existing cryptocurrency investments and provide regular updates to the team
