This role requires a medical degree, full registration and license to practice, and 1-3 years of post-graduation experience. Requirements
- Degree in Medicine
- Fully registered and Licenced to practice
- 1-3 years post-graduation from medical school, preferably a Medical Officer
- Have access to a mobile device (Android or IOS) and stable internet
- Adept in the use of common mobile applications
- Demonstrated evidence of independently attending to common primary healthcare conditions
- Ability to fluently communicate in English
- Can commit to being online and is readily available to pick up consultations as they are requested on the platform
- Effective communicator, problem-solver, and logical thinker
- Exhibits courteousness, empathy, enthusiasm, and team spirit
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a start-up mentality
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent, patient-centered primary care services virtually via call, chat-based interactions
- Independently recognize symptoms and signs of various illnesses and injuries and synthesize them to the appropriate diagnoses
- Counsel patients on preventive healthcare practices and nonpharmacologic treatments
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients using telemedicine platform, ensuring effective communication and rapport-building
- Deliver excellent, robust patient-centered primary care services via call and chat-based interactions
- Ensure patient safety and medication appropriateness by verifying patient information, reviewing medical histories, and considering contraindications or interactions
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize telemedicine practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients
- Promptly respond to and address telemedicine-related escalations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to address them, enhancing holistic patient care and service delivery
