Requirements

  • Proven experience building a successful marketing function of an organization
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Strong understanding of content and video for sales and marketing
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing alignment, sales enablement
  • Strong understanding of website UX
  • Strong ability to independently manage your time
  • Familiarity with They Ask, You Answer a plus (recommended reading)
  • Experience speaking and leading company workshops
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing and sales technology
  • Familiarity with paid search and social campaigns
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed (up to 10% if local to Connecticut, up to 30% if fully remote.)
  • History of publishing educational, thought leadership content and videos
  • Must be a strong learner

Responsibilities

  • Advise 12-16 businesses at a time through virtual meetings and occasional on-site visits on applying They Ask, You Answer principles and digital marketing and sales best practices to make a measurable impact on their sales results
  • Build 12-month digital sales and marketing programs for each business
  • Lead 90-day planning sessions with your clients' executive leadership teams
  • Coach your businesses' executive leadership teams on executing their marketing programs
  • Analyze the marketing and sales performance of each business, and get buy-in from them to commit to your recommendations
  • Lead the final stages of the IMPACT sales process to convert businesses to work with you and help them onboard successfully
  • Be the lead on the businesses your work with internally - coordinating with other team members, being available to support them and maintaining a seamless experience for your teammates and clients
  • Create and deliver educational content such as articles, videos, tutorials, courses and live presentations
  • Facilitate leadership and all-company workshops for prospects and clients
