Summary
Join European Dynamics as a Digital Policy Advisor and contribute your expertise remotely within the EU. Collaborate with a major client's IT team, providing legal and political analysis on interoperability, AI, and digital policy. Review deliverables, support the Interoperable Europe Act's implementation, and engage with Member States. Contribute to policy papers, briefings, and conceptual development of digital government. Organize events, workshops, and communication activities, while reporting regularly to the project officer. This role requires a university degree, 7+ years of relevant experience, and expertise in legal and political analysis, policy design, and report writing. Requirements
- University degree combined with a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience in IT
- Experience in legal and political analysis on AI, interoperability and digital policy
- Experience supporting multiple services and agencies to design policies and organize high-level meetings
- Experience in liaising policy with technology, public policy and digital transformation
- Experience in drafting studies and reports on tech-related topics (namely AI and digital government), as well as impact assessment of digital policies
- Experience in contributing to overviews, presentations and reports on public sector projects
- Experience in supporting inter-institutional negotiations
- Experience in working within a research environment on EU Digital Policy
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools
- Excellent command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Legal and political analysis (and advice) on interoperability, AI and digital policy in general
- Review and validation of deliverables under the policy contract tasks
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Interoperable Europe Act
- Support cooperation with and engagement of Member States, notably through the Interoperable Europe Board, its working groups, and with partner DGs
- Contribute to papers and briefings upon request on digital policy at large
- Contribute to the theoretical and conceptual development of digital government in light of the Act
- Organise and conduct events and workshops, design and contribute to communication activities
- Regular reporting to the project officer
