Summary
Join Darkroom, a rapidly growing omnichannel growth marketing agency, as a Shopify Project Manager. This fully remote role (EST timezone, open to candidates in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil) requires 2-3 years of e-commerce or web project management experience and strong Shopify expertise. You will manage end-to-end Shopify store implementations, develop project plans, coordinate with various teams, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, including experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 2 - 3 years in e-commerce or web project management
- Experience in CRO and SEO fundamentals
- Hands-on Shopify experience
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party tool integrations
- Expert in Shopify. It is your second language
- Strong understanding of SEO, Conversion Rate Optimization, and e-commerce workflows
- Proficiency in project management tools (Notion)
- Advanced organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written english communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
Responsibilities
- Create and optimize data-driven CRO strategies (e.g., A/B testing, funnel optimization) to enhance user engagement and increase conversions
- Performing maintenance, analysis, optimization, and developing new site features and updates
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may affect platform performance during and post-launch
- Install and configure Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- End-to-end implementation of a new Shopify e-commerce store
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets that align with business objectives
- Coordinate with teams across Design, IT, Marketing, and Business Operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Monitor progress, resolve roadblocks, and adjust resources or timelines when needed
- Provide regular status updates and key metrics to stakeholders
- Ensure project feasibility and alignment with e-commerce best practices
- Evaluate third-party tools and APIs for seamless integration into the website
- Stay updated on Shopify features, updates, and industry trends to recommend site improvements
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, external vendors, and stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for developers
- Foster effective communication and resolve problems across all project teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HTML, CSS is a plus
