Summary

Join OMG, Australia's largest independent digital marketing agency, as a Digital Strategist specializing in SEO. You will be part of the Pre-Sales Team, conducting SEO audits for prospective clients, creating sales decks, and training the sales team on SEO best practices. This role requires in-depth SEO knowledge and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure client success and manage complex campaign onboarding. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role and is based in South Africa with flexible working hours. Requirements

  • At least 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • In depth Knowledge and application of SEO
  • Very strong & clear written & verbal communication skills mandatory
  • Must be based in South Africa
  • Willing to work from 4AM-12noon SAST or equivalent to 1PM-9PM Sydney Time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth SEO audit for prospective clients to uncover what they’re doing well, and what needs to be improved. Documented & presented professionally via Google slides
  • Working with the sales team to ideate the best 3,6,9, 12 months strategy to deliver this client growth via SEO
  • Supporting the creation of sales decks for pitches, including audits and other key factors (using templates already in place and improving them consistently)
  • Training and mentoring the sales team to be experts in SEO and hold high value, enterprise level conversations with clients of all shapes and sizes
  • Working with the sales & delivery teams to minimise misunderstandings, maximise alignment. Continually bridging the gap to ensure maximise revenue results for customers and minimise churn
  • Managing the on-boarding of highly complex or highly technical campaigns that sales have recently signed up

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably someone with strong knowledge with SEO but having Google Adwords & Facebook Ad experience is also an advantage
  • Preferably someone who has basic fundamentals with functioning landing page design, conversion rate optimization, and on page optimization skills
  • Know how to provide findings and relevant recommendations upon all aspects of digital marketing
  • Experience dealing with USA & AU clients is preferred but not required
