Summary
Join Intuitive's Digital Strategy & Operations team as a solution-oriented intern to contribute to projects launching in 2025. You will gather cross-functional requirements, blueprint processes, test systems, and enable updates within ISI business applications. Administrative tasks include taking meeting minutes and driving accountability. This role reports to the Manager of Digital Business Process Design and involves collaboration with various teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about digital innovation. This is a 10-12 week full-time internship starting in May or June, open to currently enrolled university students.
Requirements
- Possess an effective methodical background, experience with effectively framing issues to efficiently arrive at solutions
- Be able to organize, track, prioritize, and drive goals of multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams with no formal reporting lines
- Be able to resolve complex challenges in a matrix organization, be adept at influencing and negotiating
- Be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall
- Be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June
- Be currently enrolled in a Business program (Finance, Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Strategy) degree-seeking program at the Bachelorβs level
Responsibilities
- Partner with IT and business system owners to provide data and functionality requirements to enhance existing internal business systems
- Establish a culture of partnership and alignment between various functions and departments
- Evaluate and anticipate potential issues with data capture and consumption by internal parties, respond to changes with agility, and be fundamentally solution-minded
- Gather cross-functional requirements
- Blueprint processes
- Test systems
- Enable updates within ISI business applications
- Take meeting minutes
- Document action items
- Drive accountability in closing actions and outcomes needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess excellent relational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Be a polished and succinct verbal and written communicator, able to articulate complex topics in simple and digestible communications
- Possess effective verbal and written communication, and exceptional documentation skills
- Be relaxed with change and ambiguity. Able to adjust to multiple demands while constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints
- Have experience with business systems (the Salesforce ecosystem, SAP CRM)
- Have experience or study of Lean Six Sigma, and/or Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
