Director, APAC Treasury Operations in Singapore

Summary

Circle is a financial technology company looking for an experienced Director to develop and scale a regional Treasury function in Asia. The candidate will act as the regional point person for all Treasury-related matters, build and manage teams, and oversee relationships with global financial service providers. They will also automate operational processes and maintain operational controls.

Requirements

• 12+ years full time experience in treasury, banking, payments industry or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing, building and leading teams
• Prior experience building and scaling an operations function
• [Ability to work independently and make time-sensitive decisions locally]
• Strong work ethic and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Inquisitiveness and interest in macroeconomics and business cycle modeling
• Interest in the cryptocurrency and web3 ecosystems and how they interact with the traditional finance industry
• Advanced excel/spreadsheet skills and/or basic computer programming capabilities (SQL, Python, AppScript, VBA, etc.)
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite

Responsibilities
