Director, Business Insights

Summary

Join Iterable's Operations team as a Director and lead a team of Business Analysts and Data Engineers. You will build and maintain the company's central business data repository, providing actionable insights to leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, design a secure data warehouse, and develop data quality initiatives. Produce analytics solutions, identify competency gaps, and develop strategies for Iterable's data analytics investments. Work directly with C-level executives to leverage data for strategic decision-making. This role requires strong leadership, data expertise, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Ability to understand the needs of the company, create a compelling vision for the department, and drive change in a fast paced environment
• Previous leadership and people management experience of a data pipeline team
• Understanding of Business Insights tool infrastructure
• Ability to seamlessly work cross-functionally
• SQL, Python, Snowflake, Sigma (or similar BI tool) experience
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization
• Understanding of Sales, Marketing, CS, Finance, Product and People data
• Strong understanding of the SaaS business model

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues, external partners and other stakeholders to design a secure and usable data warehouse that supports the organization's vision
• Lead the development of the data warehouse and continuously evaluate effectiveness in meeting the organization’s business intelligence outcomes and adjust design, architecture, approach, etc. as necessary
• Develop and manage data quality and remediation efforts, in addition to required data maintenance activities
• Assist in producing analytics and business intelligence solutions such as reports, dashboards, and apps as needed
• Constantly evaluate competency gaps and/ needs across organization and teams and developing plans to address gaps/needs
• Develop processes, controls and monitoring to ensure documentation of data processes, controls, assets, etc
• Effectively communicate and demonstrate the strategic goals and tactical benefits of applied data
• Develop strategies, programs, etc. to support long term success of Iterable’s Data Analytics and Business Intelligence investments
• Work directly with C-Level executives to understand Iterable through data and build strategy based on data insights
