Summary

Join EarnIn as a dynamic and strategic Director of Compliance Management Systems to lead the development and implementation of our compliance risk management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field or commensurate work experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) preferred (not required)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the FinTech or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance management systems including but not limited to; policy and procedure writing, risk based monitoring and testing function, and development of the compliance risk assessment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to compliance risk management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legal guidance and translate the guidance into control environments
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey compliance risk concepts to audiences who are not compliance professionals
  • Relevant professional designations preferred but not required; (e.g CRCM, CIA, CPA etc.)
  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations, handbooks, bulletins, supervisory letters, (e.g., OCC Handbook; Compliance Management Systems, FRB SR-08-8, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance risk management strategies and frameworks tailored to EarnInโ€™s risk profile
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks to the organization, including financial, operational, and strategic risks
  • Work with first line risk managers to implement a compliance management system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance risk management practices into business processes and decision-making
  • Monitor and analyze emerging compliance risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure proactive risk mitigation
  • Prepare and present compliance risk reports to executive leadership and provide insights and recommendations
  • Develop and manage a team of compliance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Continuously improve compliance risk management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
