Financial Systems Manager

Summary

Join HubSpot's FinTech Product Group as a Manager of Financial Systems! In this role, you will lead a team of 8-10 Business Systems Analysts, ensuring the Finance organization's technology needs are met. You will collaborate with the CFO organization, manage integrations between NetSuite, Coupa, and other systems, and optimize financial processes. This position requires a deep understanding of NetSuite and Coupa, along with strong management and communication skills. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing accounting systems, with at least 4 years focused on NetSuite
• Strong understanding of Coupa, NetSuite ERP, SuiteFlow, integrations
• Proven experience in leading and/or assisting complex integration projects, with strong project management skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting and analysis
• 2-4 years of prior management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• Able to articulate a clear vision and roadmap and have led cross-team executions for impactful business outcomes
• Able to problem-solve and navigate ambiguity and complexity to drive effective solutions

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 8-10 Business Systems Analysts
• Collaborate with our CFO Organization to understand their needs and act as their technical advisor and problem solver
• Assist in building and managing integrations between NetSuite, Coupa and other business systems (third-party applications) to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy
• Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement and Operations teams to identify system requirements, implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration across departments
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize accounting and financial processes, leveraging NetSuite’s and Coupa capabilities
• Assist in system implementation and integration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across integrated systems, performing regular audits and data reconciliation
• Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on system usage, best practices, and new features
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration and system issues, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed
• Ensure that financial systems and integrations comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and security standards
• Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, ensuring service levels and performance standards are met
• Create a communication and rollout strategy to promote awareness, adoption, excitement and usage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building integrations is highly desired
• Proficiency in SQL, Workato and other data management tools is a plus

• Cash compensation range: 138500-221600 USD Annually
• The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles
