Summary

The job description is for a Director of Data Strategy role at Avalere Health, reporting to the VP of Data & Analytics. The role involves leading and implementing data strategy for clients' marketing efforts, acting as an evangelist for data-driven measurement methodology, and managing relationships with other functional leads.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the measurement of digital marketing activities
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of the digital measurement ecosystem, including but not limited to defining and implementing measurement frameworks, multi-touch attribution, and Media Performance Measurement (MMM, MTA, Incrementality)
• Experience with data tools including: Ad platforms, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, and social listening platforms
• Experience working with ad-tech, mar-tech, and operational data
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or Google), notably Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to understand technical aspects of data analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and implement data and analytics strategy for clients’ marketing efforts
• Serve as the day-to-day lead for client accounts; responsible for directing, shaping, and impacting the delivery of data-driven insights and deliverables designed to assess performance and inform strategic recommendations
• Act as an evangelist for data-driven measurement methodology & solutions designed to provide actionable insights that guide better decision-making for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the relationship between client and other functional leads (e.g., Client Service, Strategy, Media, Project Delivery, Data Engineering, Data Science, Creative, etc.) to establish and maintain a roadmap for all reporting and measurement efforts
• Supporting and guiding the Analytics team vision for continued evolution and innovation in the analytics offerings; meeting the evolving needs of the various clients across Avalere
