You will manage, integrate, and transform the company's technology applications to support the Plan to Fulfill business process, focusing on the Instructor Led Training business unit. You will be a key member of the Global Digital & IT leadership team, shaping the organization's future and prioritizing team development. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to drive execution and deliver solutions that streamline processes and improve business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of prior experience and proven track record in Digital & IT strategic leadership in a growth-driven global organization, with a prior leadership role in supporting an event-based business
  • Deep technical understanding of current and future trends in supporting planning and fulfillment of events or comparable experience, capable of developing and executing a strategy that leverages new technology to support overall product/service evolution and business performance
  • Experience delivering global programs (>$2M investment) with a multi-regional footprint, modernizing legacy application footprints and standardizing technology solutions across companies with a fragmented landscape
  • Demonstrated experience in driving key business process transformations in M&A integrations
  • Solid experience with and understanding of SaaS, Information Security, and integration of IT applications and standardization of business processes
  • Ability to effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling; to create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful
  • Experience building technology teams in innovative, global, and progressive companies. Ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to naturally connect and build strong relationships with others, a team player demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
  • Highly resilient, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring an effective balance between internally and externally facing activities
  • Strong analytical skills, with bias towards action and data driven decision making
  • Strong interest in and orientation towards developing talent and building highly functional teams
  • Change agent with ability to lead through ambiguity and evolving business models with experience partnering with business to define KPIs and measures of success
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including iterative development and continuous improvement practices. Experience with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to understand and translate company and line of business strategies into near and long-term technology initiatives and roadmaps
  • Act as a transformation agent to reimagine business processes, streamline operations, identify and implement innovative technology solutions with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and speed of transformation across the end-to-end portfolio
  • Integrate market and competitive trends, organization dynamics, business priorities, and other factors into a coherent vision for growth, while ensuring operational stability of current operations
  • Define and implement annual strategic and investment plans to deliver business value through transformation and operational initiatives, with a focus on operational excellence and strong financial management
  • Partner with peers to ensure an Enterprise view to minimize frictions in hand offs between process areas, and understand data needs to optimize the Instructor Led Training business function
  • Drive continuous improvement, best practices and efficient operating metrics while enabling the business, and providing transparency on progress and key challenges
  • Ensure regular Technology Performance Reviews are held with key stakeholders to ensure Digital & IT performance is delivered in line with service expectations
  • Plan and manage operating and capital expense budgets including the qualification and selection of vendors and services
  • Define and lead initiatives for Disaster Recovery and Resilience as part of the company’s BCP program
  • Establish an agile culture focused on delivering business value quickly and efficiently, generating positive energy within the team for new ways of working
  • Optimize technology services and operations by creating an effective operating model, attracting and retaining the right talent while nurturing the professional growth of our employees
  • Work with direct reports and wider team to champion the development of Digital & IT team members, ensuring that effective Digital & IT leadership is in place and succession bench strength is defined
