Requirements

  • Proven experience working with Workspace solutions, with a preference for candidates who have deep experience within the cloud services domain
  • Minimum of 5-8 years in professional services sales, with leadership experience in a consulting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with Google Workspace sellers, partners, and customers, with existing relationships in the sector being a significant advantage
  • Strong background in selling cloud services and solutions, with specific experience in Data Analytics, AI/ML project delivery, and solution sales
  • Ability to work collaboratively with GTM Pre-sales Teams to lead sales efforts across Google Workspace sales segments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and agility in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to Google Workspace products
  • Understand market trends and customer needs to position these solutions effectively
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Understand customer business needs and objectives to align with Google Workspace solutions
  • Track and meet sales targets and KPIs
  • Analyze data to make decisions and forecast future sales
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Google Workspace products, their developments, and updates
  • Ensure the team is also up-to-date with product knowledge
  • Keep abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies
  • Adjust sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective strategies and materials for promoting Google Workspace products
  • Gather customer feedback on Google Workspace products and communicate this to the product operations team for potential improvements or customizations
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, revenue, and expenses
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as technical support and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and resolve any issues promptly
  • Continually seek innovative ways to improve the sales process and customer experience with Google Workspace products
  • Build and maintain relationships with Google and other relevant partners to stay updated on new features and opportunities
  • Ensure that the team is trained and, if necessary, certified in Google Workspace products to enhance credibility and expertise
