Summary

Join Thrive, a leading technology solutions provider, as an Implementation Engineering Manager! Lead and oversee multiple teams, ensuring the successful delivery of professional services and project engineering to clients. Develop project scopes and products with standardized pricing and workflows. Collaborate with other teams on process improvements and build a positive team culture. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2-4 years of management experience, and advanced experience in various technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also possess expert knowledge of cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • 2-4 years management experience
  • Advanced experience (4+ years) across the following technologies: Microsoft 365 Suite of Services
  • Advanced experience (4+ years) across the following technologies: Public Cloud, specifically Azure Infrastructure
  • Advanced experience (4+ years) across the following technologies: Private Cloud, specifically VMWare hypervisors
  • Advanced experience (4+ years) across the following technologies: Network Infrastructure, specifically Fortigate firewalls and Meraki cloud solutions
  • Experience implementing Managed Service and Information Technology solutions
  • Expert understanding of cloud computing, networking, cyber security concepts and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple teams within Thriveโ€™s Implementation Engineering organization, ensuring the delivery of professional services and project engineering to Thrive clients
  • Develop project scopes and products with standardized pricing, workflows and outcomes
  • Serve as a management escalation point
  • Collaborate with functionally adjacent teams within Thrive on process design and efficiency enhancements
  • Build and maintain a positive team culture focused on enriching the client experience
  • Build and maintain a management structure focused on accountability and perpetual improvement of processes and standards
  • Hire, train and mentor Implementation Engineering Managers
  • Effectively communicate with Sales, Account Management, Solution Architects and Project Managers to explain project process, statuses, requirements, etc
  • Perform managerial and administrative responsibilities including client service escalations and PTO/expense reviews and approvals

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience using ServiceNow (or other project management software)
  • 4+ years experience implementing, supporting and/or managing Telephony Infrastructure, namely Teams Voice and 8x8
  • Experience in ITIL methodology and change management processes
