Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and across all levels of an organization
  • Experience with internal communications platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, email automation tools)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute internal communications strategy to support business goals, employee engagement, and change initiatives
  • Manage internal platforms including the intranet, Teams channels, email newsletters, and digital signage
  • Develop and deliver enterprise-wide communications, including HR updates, leadership messages, and organizational announcements
  • Create and maintain engaging content for β€œThe Schweiger Way” (TWS), DEI spotlights, holiday shoutouts, and cultural initiatives
  • Lead communications strategy and execution for acquisitions and transitions affecting new or existing business units
  • Customize communications to specific audiences such as providers, managers, and field teams
  • Monitor communication metrics and feedback to continuously improve engagement and effectiveness
  • Coordinate messaging from Central Support to offices and field teams, including departmental updates and enterprise communications
  • Collaborate with the Central Support Leaders (IT, RCM, Facilities, RMDs, Compliance, PSC, and HR) to align on change management strategies and timelines to ensure clear and consistent communication
  • Manage and align the internal communication calendar in partnership with Central Support Leaders
  • Oversee provider communications via the provider newsletter and Teams channels, including event invitations and updates
  • Serve as a communications advisor to leadership, providing guidance on tone, delivery, and messaging best practices
  • Work closely with Director – Talent and Culture to lead key HR communications projects including employee experience
  • Support leadership development and talent initiatives in collaboration with HR partners
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and materials, including CEO blog, for internal distribution
  • Provide strategic communications support during organizational change or crisis situations
  • Mentor and guide internal team members and high-potential talent
