Summary

Join GuidePoint Security as the Director of Business Operations and serve as a strategic advisor to the Regional Partner, enhancing decision-making efficiency. Manage the regional vendor relationship team and strategic vendor program. Develop and maintain effective tracking systems, foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and manage direct reports. Ensure clear communication across the organization, partner with national and regional channel leadership, and provide structured reports for vendors and clients. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, collaborate with marketing on vendor strategies, and coordinate regular vendor meetings. Lead key vendor initiatives, track regional rebates and MOUs, maintain contact lists, and coordinate cadences with strategic vendor regional segment sales leadership. Plan and facilitate various events focused on enablement and strategic alignment, drive alignment with integration partners, and manage the vendor escalation matrix.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience with relationship management, financial planning, reporting, operational problem solving
  • Must have outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
  • Ability to lead and work well within a team
  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email, phone, and written documents
  • Self motivated, with ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Must have ability to give and receive feedback for the betterment of the team

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison between leadership team and Mid-Atlantic employees and RP
  • Develop and maintain effective tracking systems for follow-ups and to-do lists
  • Serve as a liaison to foster strong relationships among the GPS and regional leadership team, and other key internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage direct reports through performance and behavior deficits, along with supporting career growth
  • Own facilitation of clear and effective communication across the Mid-Atlantic organization to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Partner with national and regional channel leadership and GPS VRM to report on strategic vendor progress and pipeline by segment, product family and by AE (GPS and vendor)
  • Provide structured and timely touch reports for vendors and clients to track engagement and ensure consistent follow-up
  • Help build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely communication and effective partnership
  • Work with marketing to develop strategies for vendor collaboration that align with business objectives and enhance client outcomes
  • Coordinate regular vendor meetings to review project statuses, updates, and potential opportunities for growth
  • Document and follow up on key initiatives with sales, ops, engineering and marketing
  • Lead key vendor initiatives driving accountability, equitable partnership and profitability
  • Track and report on regional rebates and MOUs to ensure fulfillment
  • Own and maintain up-to-date contact and account lists for strategic vendor partners
  • Coordinate and manage quarterly or bi-annual cadences with strategic vendor regional segment sales leadership across key teams (Strategic, Majors, Enterprise, Mid-Market, Commercial, Healthcare, SLED, and New Acquisition)
  • Plan and facilitate rep and technical mapping days, office collaboration days, and demand generation sessions β€” with a focus on enablement and strategic alignment
  • Drive alignment and engagement with integration partners to support joint initiatives and go-to market efforts
  • Manage the vendor escalation matrix and associated processes to ensure timely resolution and executive visibility
