Summary

Join Lightcast as the Director of Consulting, a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing consulting projects, teams, and client engagements. This position involves providing expert guidance to clients, leading consulting teams, and driving business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in consulting, with a track record of successful project management and client engagement
  • Experience speaking at conferences, events and / or working with publications is required
  • Experience partnering with internal sales teams to develop and customize client solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary
  • StrategicΒ  and big-picture thinking, with strong business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives
  • Lead consulting engagements from initiation to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and budget oversight
  • Manage and mentor consulting teams, providing guidance, direction, and support
  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities and challenges, develop consulting strategies, and propose innovative solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients and potential clients
  • Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints
  • Ensure that consulting services meet quality standards and adhere to best practices
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in consulting. Share knowledge and insights with the consulting team to enhance capabilities
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, reports, and recommendations. Communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
