Requirements
- Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant discipline, plus eight years of experience in a related field; or completion of an advanced degree (master's or higher) in an applicable and relevant field, plus five years of related experience in an applicable field
- Strong leadership and management skills with success in achieving goals through others
- Extensive experience in data operations, data warehousing, data analytics or related roles
- Proven track record of successfully implementing data projects and initiatives
- Experience in data governance and compliance. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Knowledge of resource management methodologies and practices
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Conduct performance appraisals, pay reviews, and provide training and development opportunities for team members
- Forming and building up Internal Data Ops Teams and nurturing secondlevel leadership and robust support structures
- Develop and conduct data analysis to support evaluation, research, assessment, and strategic planning initiatives
- Knowledge and previous experience setting up and managing Production Systems
- Knowledge and expertise recommending, installing, and rolling out effective monitoring tools
- Knowledge of data pipelines and data integration techniques
- Familiarity with data quality and governance practices
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations to drive business decisions and improve organizational effectiveness
- Develop and implement data operations analysis and develop policies, standards, and procedures to maintain data quality and security
- Collaborate with database software vendors and external technical support to address software upgrades, problems, and potential solutions
- Identify, plan, and mobilize resources required to fulfill operational objectives and execute data services plans effectively
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and organizational goals
