Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 12+ years of experience in a data-focused role (Data Engineering, Data Science), including 4+ years in a leadership and people management capacity; including experience managing other managers
  • Proven experience leading multiple technical teams and managing other managers
  • Deep technical expertise in modern data architectures, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data streaming, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, from conception and model development to deployment and monitoring in a production environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a long-term technical strategy that aligns with business goals
  • Proven ability to lead complex, long-term, cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to completion
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams across the organization
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience in defining and analyzing performance metrics to measure impact and ROI
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overarching vision, strategy, and roadmap for TrueML's data platform, encompassing Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Services
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing organization of data and engineering professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and execution
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for data infrastructure, ML model development and deployment, and data delivery systems
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, Product Management, and other Engineering leaders to ensure the data strategy aligns with company objectives and product needs
  • Oversee the development of scalable data pipelines, robust machine learning models, and reliable data services that power our AI-driven products
  • Champion best practices in data governance, data quality, MLOps , and ethical AI across the organization
  • Drive the optimization of key business domains, including Consumer Engagement, Offers & Payments, and the Obligation Lifecycle, through the application of advanced data techniques
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, data science, and machine learning to ensure TrueML remains at the forefront of innovation
  • Maintain a strong understanding of data privacy regulations
