Summary

The job is for a leadership position in SingleStore's Managed Service team, focusing on building and operating the control plane and Kubernetes operator for their cloud solution. The role requires experience in leading technical projects, developing tools and services in a SaaS environment, working with distributed teams, and experience with cloud native service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven ability to hire and retain top talent
• Experience developing tools and services in a SaaS environment (Go experience a plus)
• Experience leading and working on distributed teams
• Experience with cloud native service delivery, particularly with containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one of these cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP

Responsibilities

• Lead a rapidly growing team that builds and operates the control plane and Kubernetes operator powering SingleStore's cloud solution
• Create and execute on the technical development roadmap for SingleStore Managed Service
• Foster a team culture of collaboration and learning
• Work closely with database engine, infrastructure, product, and go to market teams to prioritize and ensure we deliver a complete product
