Remote Director of Engineering

Summary

Requirements

• Proven ability to hire and retain top talent
• Experience developing tools and services in a SaaS environment (Go experience a plus)
• Experience leading and working on distributed teams
• Experience with cloud native service delivery, particularly with containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one of these cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP

Responsibilities

• Lead a rapidly growing team that builds and operates the control plane and Kubernetes operator powering SingleStore's cloud solution
• Create and execute on the technical development roadmap for SingleStore Managed Service
• Foster a team culture of collaboration and learning
• Work closely with database engine, infrastructure, product, and go to market teams to prioritize and ensure we deliver a complete product
