Summary

You will lead the development of new products for new markets, building 0-to-1 products and managing a high-performing engineering team. Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering management (5+ years) with a strong background in agile development, 8+ years of commercial software development, and launching new products (e.g., from initial planning all the way to delivery and adoption of the product)
- A track record of tenacity and technical brilliance, with the ability to adapt quickly and contribute meaningfully
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining high standards
- Ability to motivate and inspire your team, instilling a sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and effectively convey ideas
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, hiring, mentoring, and leading teams to achieve excellence
- Expertise in object-oriented design, application development tools, APIs, and/or enterprise application platforms
- Location in the Pacific time zone required

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a new set of products and own the technical roadmap with our New Markets team; ready to code yourself and manage the team to achieve goals
- Recruit and cultivate a high-performing team of individual contributor engineers, inspiring individuals to achieve 10x the impact of average engineers through mentorship and support
- Work within a small, agile team to successfully deliver multiple features, fostering strong relationships with product stakeholders
- Take ownership of key product features, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with our strategic goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, helping to navigate decisions and drive team alignment with broader organizational objectives
- Continuously refine and improve development processes as the team evolves, promoting agility and efficiency
