Requirements
- 8+ years in progressive enrollment roles, including at least three years as a VP/AVP of Enrollment Management or Director of Admissions (or equivalent) at a regional public university
- Documented record of reversing or accelerating enrollment trends—e.g., year-over-year gains in headcount, net tuition revenue, or market share. Applicants should be ready to share specific metrics and case studies
- Hands-on administration and campaign execution in Slate (preferred) plus familiarity with Element451 and/or Salesforce Education Cloud. Experience building communication plans, query/report logic, and application workflows
- Demonstrated success aligning brand messaging, digital media, and funnel conversion tactics to enrollment goals
- 5+ years managing professional staff; exceptional presentation skills; comfortable advising presidents, provosts, and boards
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred (Marketing, Higher Ed Administration, Business, or related field)
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor VisionPoint’s enrollment strategy team
- Translate our client partners’ institutional goals into demand generation, student search/recruitment, and yield strategies that drive measurable enrollment growth
- Collaborate across creative, media, web, and analytics teams to ensure flawless execution and optimization
- Serve as a primary consultant with clients and SME in new-business pitches
- As a team leader, cast a vision, ensure continuous improvement of our methodologies, and ensure exceptional delivery of VisionPoint’s strategy offerings, meeting the enrollment results of our client partners and fulfilling the team
- Coach, develop, and evaluate a team of Enrollment Strategists; provide clear growth paths and real-time feedback
- Manage the individual growth, professional development, and performance of each direct report, including ensuring that all Strategists develop and continue to build upon a strong understanding of enrollment marketing strategy and quickly grasp each client partner’s situation, opportunities, marketplace, and dynamics; produce on target strategic plans, and appropriately inform and provide the strategic guidance and consultation to our service delivery teammates
- Model our core values in every interaction, serving as a first-level escalation point for identifying opportunities, problem-solving, and strengthening our client satisfaction and project performance
- Contribute to the growth of the agency by serving as a spokesperson and leading representative in discovery meetings, and a subject matter expert on proposals and pitches, particularly concerning enrollment management challenges and solutions
- Oversee and conduct quantitative and qualitative research to develop effective strategies across brand, web, advertising, and enrollment marketing initiatives, with a direct focus on driving demand, applications, and maximizing yield for our client partners
- Serve as a primary contributor and leader of the Strategy team, develop data-driven strategic plans and support tactical roadmaps; quantify impact using enrollment funnel metrics (inquiries, apps, admits, deposits, enrollments)
- Monitor, measure, benchmark, analyze, and consult with our client services team and clients on their strategies and plans throughout project engagements to suggest pivots, reallocations, and investments as appropriate for each client partner’s objectives
- In collaboration with teams across the agency, build processes and develop offerings to ensure the execution of effective plans and attainment of enrollment goals
- Partner with our Client Experience team to envision, scope, price, and pitch enrollment-focused projects and relationships
- Provide institutional case studies, benchmark data, and success metrics that strengthen VisionPoint’s value proposition and win new business
