Summary
Join Peek's corporate finance team as a senior leader, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. You will lead, grow, and optimize the finance team, driving high-impact projects that shape Peek's strategic direction. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and experience in strategic thinking and process optimization. You will partner with senior leadership, develop key performance indicators, and create financial forecasting tools. Responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, maximizing ROI, supporting the executive team, and implementing new processes. Requirements
- 6-8 years of analytical / finance experience
- A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and modeling financial statements
- Self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Pride in your attention to detail and organizational skills
- Top notch excel skills and modeling capabilities
- Familiarity with SQL and managing large data sets
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead, grow and optimize our finance team with high degrees of analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration and a broad skill set combining finance, data, and strategy
- Partner with Senior Leadership to develop and monitor key performance indicators across the organization
- Work closely with department owners to translate key operational metrics into actionable guidance that assists with decision making
- Create and operate key financial forecasting tools and operating models, partnering with teams across the business to maximize predictability
- Create and own the financial planning and budgeting lifecycle, working to shape the financial trajectory of the business and connect operating goals to financial targets
- Identify and execute opportunities to maximize ROI throughout the organization and drive sustainable growth
- Support the Board and Executive team on ad hoc strategy and financial analyses, such as new product launches, expansions, operational changes and M&A opportunities
- Implement new processes, tools, and systems to improve forecasting and reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Support fundraising and investor relations activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate finance and / or financial planning and analysis highly preferred
- Technology industry experience is a plus
