Summary

Join Fundraise Up as a principal fundraising strategist, leading the charge in elevating fundraising success for our clients. This transformative leadership role empowers Customer Success and Solution Engineering teams, delivering consultative services to maximize donor development and fundraising outcomes. You will leverage your expertise in multi-channel fundraising strategies, data analysis, and stakeholder management to guide cross-channel strategies, analyze donor behavior, and create impactful presentations. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of fundraising experience, including 5+ years in a senior strategic role, and excels in both strategic and tactical execution. We offer a competitive salary ($130,000 - $150,000 base, OTE $170,000 - $200,000), stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package including remote work, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health insurance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in fundraising, including 5+ years in a senior strategic role
  • Expertise in multi-channel fundraising strategies and nonprofit operations
  • Strong analytical, consultative, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to execute hands-on work and build scalable processes
  • Exceptional presentation and data visualization skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive fundraising assessments and provide actionable recommendations
  • Develop comprehensive assessment reports that balance strategic vision with tactical implementation steps
  • Guide cross-channel fundraising strategies and best practices
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to deliver impactful account reviews
  • Analyze donor behavior, complex fundraising data, and platform usage to identify opportunities
  • Deliver compelling, actionable insights through data-driven presentations and reports for both C-Suite and Operations
  • Build a repository of case studies and best practices
  • Execute high-impact projects while creating scalable frameworks for team growth
  • Design fundraising education programs and playbooks for the Customer Success team
  • Mentor CSMs on relationship building and organizational dynamics
  • Partner with Sales to support complex sales cycles and strategic opportunities
  • Develop solutions for common fundraising challenges and identify growth opportunities
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with customer leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS customer success or consulting
  • CFRE certification, MBA, or relevant advanced degree
  • Background in fundraising technology or nonprofit agency
  • Change management experience or certification
