Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in sales/marketing roles within financial services or at a company serving the financial industry
- 5+ years of experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of alternative investment products, capital markets, portfolio management, and other investment concepts
- Excellent analytical, communication, and process management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management and analytics tools
- Eagerness to work with diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Co-manage Voleonβs Investor Relations and Client Research teams in partnership with the Global Head of Investor Relations and Business Development
- Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance sales and relationship management effectiveness
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement action plans to develop star performers and support underperforming team members
- Foster a results-driven and collaborative team culture that aligns with the firmβs mission, values, and strategic goals
- In partnership with the Global Head of Investor Relations and Business Development, set ambitious growth and client relationship goals
- Develop and implement structured sales and relationship management processes and performance metrics
- Monitor progress vs performance metrics and goals and enforce accountability
- Work with senior leadership to refine go-to-market strategies and improve overall business development efforts
- Oversee CRM management, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activity, pipeline development, and reporting
- Oversee coordination between Investor Relations and Client Research to align content generation with commercial priorities
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Strategy, and other operational teams to support cross functional projects and requests
- Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
- Develop regular sales and investor relations performance reports, identifying trends, challenges, and areas for improvement
