Requirements
- 15+ years of global payroll processing and management experience, experience in global expansion and setup, M&A integration, and vendor management
- Technical and working knowledge of global payroll accounting rules and standards
- Experience with ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, Dayforce, and other leading payroll systems, business process outsourcing, and stakeholder management
- Strong change management skills with an ability to manage internal stakeholders to ensure payroll operations are compliant while meeting business objectives
- Advanced working knowledge of global payroll operations, including regulations, taxes, C&B, and equity reporting
- High degree of understanding of time keeping and attendance processes and payroll operations
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and excels in highly complex situations with flexibility, creativity, efficiency, and prioritization
- Strong leadership skills in building high-performing teams with mentorship driven team development
- Bachelorโs degree with a focus on accounting, or business-related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead global 20-person payroll team with regional managers for compliant and timely processing of payroll for 40,000 global employees
- Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and payroll team to set a strategic direction for global payroll, time keeping, and attendance systems
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, consultants, and cross-functional team leaders for timely and successful delivery of global projects
- Provide leadership for the payroll delivery as we undertake the implementation of a new payroll system (ADP Celergo) in Europe
- Ensure development of a high-performing, service-oriented team with a focus on technology-focused process improvement and compliance with Federal, State, and other jurisdictions tax and labor law requirements
- Serve as a key partner for our stakeholders and payroll-managed service providers, using the latest technologies, such as Workday HR, Dayforce, and ADP Payroll Suites, to improve and streamline our processes
- Lead efforts to ensure that payroll is done correctly, efficiently, and on time and that we comply with each country's relevant payroll and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for payroll audits to comply with SOX and local country-specific requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
