Director of Home Care

Join WelbeHealth as the Director of Home Care, a remote role with 40-50% travel within California. Requirements

• Must be in the State of California and comfortable with 40-50% of travel to Welbe’s Centers for business needs
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in health services administration, or administrative experience in homecare or related health programs
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct the ongoing functions of the Home Care Department
• Maintain ongoing liaison between the governing body and staff
• Responsible for ongoing oversight of the Home Care quality management system and responsible for multi-site home care operations
• Participate, evaluate, and direct strategic, short-range, and long-range planning for educational and participant care
• Drive proficiency with enterprise budgeting, resource planning, logistics, development and execution of strategic initiatives
• Monitor the record system and statistical reporting system for proper documentation, planning, and evaluation
• Monitor and take reasonable steps to ensure: Participant rights are exercised, compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and professional standards are maintained, compliance with established policies and procedures, compliance with the participants plan of care
• Oversight and monitoring of successful audit requirements per the PACE and Home Care requirements along with oversight and monitoring of state audit requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing Administration, or Business Administration
• Master’s Degree
• Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects
• Highly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers for the team to ensure the team consistently meet established goals
