Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a high-growth or tech environment
  • Strong understanding of corporate communication best practices, including change management communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to simplify complex messages
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Experience developing communication strategies and leading large-scale communication efforts
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable with change in a dynamic organization

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that supports the company's mission, culture, and values
  • Collaborate with the People team and leadership to align communications with company objectives, including updates on key initiatives, organizational changes, and growth milestones
  • Lead internal messaging around major events (e.g., all-hands meetings, town halls, offsites), ensuring clear, consistent, and inspiring communication
  • Create a framework for ongoing communication across various platforms (e.g., intranet, email, chat tools) to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Foster a feedback loop with employees, gathering input to continuously improve communication channels and content
  • Support change management efforts by developing tailored communication plans that guide teams through transitions
  • Oversee the creation of written, visual, and video content to ensure messaging consistency across formats
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in messaging across departments, including HR, Marketing, and Leadership
  • Manage internal communications metrics, reporting on engagement and effectiveness, and adjust strategies as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a scaling tech company or similar fast-paced environment
