Join our team as a Director of Product and Engineering at Taproot Foundation, where you'll drive engagement across our digital platforms and lead a team to deliver on our mission.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience working in a technical product management role with experience leading an internal/external engineering team and collaborating across an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree; Engineering degree preferable
  • Extensive knowledge of web development lifecycle, common web technologies and managing an agile process
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and headless CMS setups and comfortable working across a variety of different tech frameworks. Experience with Asana or similar project management platforms
  • Comfort working with non-technical colleagues to translate organizational goals and customer needs into a technical plan of execution
  • Ability to interpret data to proactively identify and solve problems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the product implementation strategy for Taproot Plus
  • Lead a team of 3-5 internal and external engineer and UX resources
  • Own the integrations with our marketing and CRM vendors, including SendGrid, Klaviyo, and our internal Taproot Plus Admin product
  • Meet with external clients to learn about their opportunities, concerns, security requirements, and other needs
  • Collaborate with leaders across Taproot to align the product strategy with the needs and work of the rest of the organization and key audiences
  • Be an advocate for Taproot technology across the Taproot organization
  • Manage Engineering Team
  • Lead the day-to-day work of our engineering team and manage engineering team priorities and capacity
  • Deploy an agile process with the team and across the organization
  • Manage the engineering project budget, scope, and backlog
  • Manage tech roadmap; develop tech requirements, and timelines
  • Follow the project scope from proposal to technical work-up, quality control, feedback loop, and final delivery
  • Manage bug fixes, blockers, and other issues/opportunities. Track, monitor, and report on this work
