Director of Product Management, Managed Driver Experience

Summary

Join Platform Science as a Product Manager for Managed Driver Experience (MDE) and define the long-term product roadmap. You will be the internal and external voice of MDE, articulating a compelling vision that unifies driver safety, fleet control, and partner extensibility. Responsibilities include overseeing MDE evolution across platforms, championing driver-centric design, leading cross-functional execution, and steering Android platform integration. You will also contribute to product-level financials. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, Android MDM, or mobile applications, with a proven track record of delivering developer-focused products. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS, Android MDM, or other mobile applications
• Proven success delivering products that serve a developer persona
• Strong familiarity with Android-based in-vehicle systems, OEM integrations, and enterprise device ecosystems
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Human Factors, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Set and Drive Product Strategy: Define and execute the long-term roadmap for the Managed Driver Experience (MDE), ensuring alignment with Platform Science’s broader product portfolio, business units, and the Virtual Vehicle platform vision
• Own and Communicate the Vision: Serve as the internal and external voice of MDE by articulating a compelling product vision that unifies driver safety, fleet control, and partner extensibility across mixed hardware environments
• Scale Across Platforms and Partnerships: Oversee the evolution of MDE across both aftermarket Android devices and OE-native in-dash systems, ensuring scalable deployment, global compatibility, and extensibility across partner solutions
• Champion Driver-Centric Design: Elevate the in-cab experience through human-centered design, balancing operational safety, intuitive usability, and robust enterprise-grade controls
• Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate deeply with engineering, UX, support, partner enablement, and go-to-market teams to build and deliver world-class software that meets global compliance, security, and usability standards
• Steer Android Platform Integration: Lead product direction for Android Enterprise and Android Automotive integrations, ensuring MDE remains a leading in-cab experience layer across hardware types and OEM platforms
• Contribute to Product-Level Financials: Support global P&L oversight for your product areas, helping guide monetization strategy, pricing models, and cost-to-serve efficiencies
