Join SandboxAQ's Global Public Sector Team as a Sales and Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth in the UK public sector and expand into continental Europe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of previous experience in public sector sales/business development in the United Kingdom with knowledge of UK government acquisition/procurement and certification processes
  • An aptitude for strategic and financial analysis, capture management, technology trends, and teaming
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to business development, project management, and organization with the ability to articulate complex technical issues into succinct, cohesive summaries or presentations
  • You care about customer service and success
  • Experience managing complex projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
  • You’re a natural leader. People follow you around with your positive personality traits
  • Must reside in the UK, London area preferred
  • UK vetting/security clearance eligible
  • Open to travel 25-30% of the time, depending on pursuit strategy, team and company requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and maturing current business relationships, growing the opportunity pipeline, supporting capture efforts, and growing contract orders and product revenue, beginning with the UK and expanding into continental Europe
  • Developing clear and actionable growth and go to market strategies for key verticals in coordination with the Global Public Sector leadership team
  • Developing and executing customer contact plans, customer workshops, demonstrations, educational sessions, support proposal response, and closing on new business and product orders
  • Provide support to European multi-national conferences/trade shows by acting as the lead for key partner engagement on behalf of corporate business development, corporate strategic development, technology, and others, as required
  • Able to represent the company at conferences through speeches, panels and other engagements
  • Understanding of both U.S. and European policy to be able to articulate policy considerations for business growth
  • Serving as a key subject-matter expert (SME) and interface for C-suite engagement with European partners, as required
  • Will be responsible for managing any in country or continental European consultants supporting government activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, project management software, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools
  • Ability to speak another language - French, German, Spanish preferred
