Summary

Join our team as the Director of QA Engineering and lead a talented group of QA professionals locally and globally. Responsibilities include establishing and improving QA policies, developing a comprehensive QA strategy, leading and mentoring a diverse QA team, and analyzing and improving current QA processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, extensive experience in QA leadership, and a proven track record of success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years in QA leadership roles including managing both onshore and offshore teams
  • 5+ years with test automation framework development
  • Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in developing and enhancing test automation frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Expertise in both manual and automated testing
  • A track record of successful QA team leadership and management
  • History of implementing significant quality improvements in software products
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies

Responsibilities

  • Establish and continually improve QA policies and procedures, setting clear, measurable quality objectives and key performance indicators
  • Develop a comprehensive QA strategy that covers all product development phases and aligns with overarching business goals
  • Take charge of the creation, enhancement, and upkeep of test automation frameworks, promoting automation best practices in all phases of software development
  • Guarantee the integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to streamline and improve the efficiency of development processes
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of QA professionals both onshore and offshore, strategically managing their workload and resource allocation
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and professional growth among team members
  • Analyze and revamp current QA processes to remove bottlenecks and improve efficiency
  • Introduce new tools and technologies to boost QA procedures
  • Streamline communication between departments to align QA with development and product team goals

Benefits

  • The annual salary/OTE for this role is $180,000-$220,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
